Assassin's Creed Review

Assassins Creed is the first in the assassin’s creed trilogy and in my opinion is perhaps my very game in the series.

Let me start be saying that I really enjoyed the story in this game. From the beginning I was immediately interested in what was going on and what was going to happen. In the game you are Desmond miles. He is barkeeper who seems to being kept prisoner by this unknown company and they be leave him to be an assassin. They want Desmond to enter a machine which is called an animus which can allow people to view their ancestors past through their eyes. In this case the ancestor’s life Desmond id reliving is an assassin named Altair. I won’t say anything else in risk of spoiling the story which is an interesting story and will keep you interested from beginning to end.

The graphics in the game are very good in this game. The character models in the game are very well done and move realistically. When Altair is running across rooftops and other object’s everything looks natural and is fun to watch. The locations in this game are amazing to look at. There are beautiful practically Jerusalem. Every city in the game is distinct from one another and has their own feel from the sunny streets of Damascus to the grey seemingly life-draining streets of Acre, each location is different and a lot of fun to explore.

The game play in assassin’s creed is very well- done. I taught the combat in the game was very fun to use and felt very rewarding when I countered an enemy and delivered a fatal strike. I also found the platforminig to be a lot of fun and one of the reasons I love the assassins creed series. The horse riding in the game is easy to use and is fun to ride around the holy land on horseback.

The sound in the game is great. The voice acting is extremely well done and makes the story more enjoyable and the sound of swords clashing, horse legs tapping along the ground to the sound of the eagle when you perform a leap of faith which is awesome all come together to provide this game with excellent sound.

Bad aspects of this game: Okay unfortunately this is some things that are bad about assassin’s creed. The main issue is that the game gets really repetitive, I didn’t really mind to much as the story kept me rally interested and made me want to complete the full game but it is still pretty repetitive. As you’re playing through assassin’s creed you will find yourself doing a lot of the same things time and time again such as climbing towers to view the city, interrogating people, pick pocketing, killing guards for fellow assassins and a few more things. These things sound really fun to do and they are but soon you’ll find yourself repeating the same thing over and over. Another complaint about the game but is a tiny one is that when your plat forming Altair might not grab on to a ledge or might jump the wrong way, while this shouldn’t happen it is a very small complaint and doesn’t ruin the game experience in any big way.

Good aspects of the game: Now there is a lot good about this game. The sound in the game is very well-done particularly the voice-acting. The graphics in the game are good; the cities are beautiful and nice to look at. The plat forming is very fun and can feel very rewarding for example when you escape 6 guards pursuing you by doing a couple of risky jumps and jumping off a roof of a building and landing in a pile of hay. The combat is fun and easy to use and the story of the game is an intriguing tale that will keep you playing to the end.

Story: 9 - The story is very interesting and one of the best stories I have experienced in a videogame. The ending is a cliff-hanger and some people may not like that but is still a great story.

Graphics: 8- The cities are well-made look great and are pleasant to look at. Some character models look choppy and some environments and objects don’t look that great but overall graphics are well-done and give the game a distinct lookJ.

Gameplay: 9- Assassin’s creed is a very fun game to play with its fun plat forming and its intense and rewarding combat. Assassins Creed is overall a fun game and is easy to play. The game play can mess up a couple of times but the game play is still solid and very fun.

Sound: 9- The sound in the game is just excellent. Great voice acting, enjoyable music and realistic sound effects make Assassins creed good sounding game.

Enjoyment: 8- I really enjoyed Assassins creed. I love the story to the game, had a lot of fun with the game play but got a little tired of the repetitiveness as I went through the game but still had a blast playing itJ.

Final Comment: Assassins creed is a very fun game full of action with a very interesting story and is a game that any fan of adventure games should have in their collection or at the very least play through. Overall it is a very well-made gameJJ.

Call of duty:Black ops review

Black Ops is known by pretty much everyone be them a fan or not. It is one of the biggest hyped games in history. But does it live up to the hype. Well let me just start off by saying that it’s almost impossible for any game to live up to the hype that was associated with this game, but saying that this game is a damn good game.

The story in Black ops was surprisingly deep and was something I was not expecting from this franchise. For me I personally liked the story and it is perhaps the best in the Call of Duty franchise. The graphics in the game are very good and the locations look great and are well-varied. The character models in the game are especially exceptionally well-done. The game play in black ops is fun and is easy to use. Pretty much anyone can pick up the game and play. One thing I especially like in this game is the ability to dive. I think this is a great addition to the game play and to be honest there is few things that feel better than diving out a window landing in front of an enemy and shooting him in the head. It is quite an experience and really makes you feel like badass special ops solider :). Now we move onto the sound. Let me just say the sound of the guns are spot on and sound great, the voice actors also did a very good job in this game particular mason and woods voice actors who I taught both did an outstanding job voicing these characters.

Bad aspects of the game: Okay one thing that I didn’t find too bad but expected better from was the games ending. It was good but I was really expecting more especially when nearly the rest of the story built up to it very well. Another thing is that the ending is kind of predictable, I was able to guess a main part of the third and final section of the game, and even though I was expecting more it still kept my interest.

Good aspects of the game: there is a lot good about this game. Probably the best part about this game is the multiplayer. It is a huge multiplayer. Activision really outdid themselves with the amount of customisation options available to the player once they reach a certain level. These can range from changing the colour of your lens to changing the shape of your red dot sight and so much more. There is also a twist in the story which I found to be a good twist and really surprised me. Some people might not like it but then other people will, so I guess it’s a love/hate twist. Whether you like or not has a good chance of making or breaking the story for you. Even if you have no interest in the story the missions are awesome and are full of action and exciting set pieces.

Story-8: The story is interesting, has great set pieces and is something new for the call of duty series.

Graphics-9: The Graphics in this game are very good and the guns look very detailed along with the character models and the locations are varied and nice to look at and play through.

Gameplay-10: The game play is easy to play and makes the game a lot of fun to play, the new dive ability also adds a little bit more fun to the overall experience.

Sound-10: The sound is excellent in this game, from the sound of the guns firing to the great voice-acting.

Enjoyment-9: I really enjoyed this game. The game play is excellent, the sound is a joy to listen to, the graphics are nice to look at, has addicting and rewarding multiplayer and the story is an exciting ride and a deep and interesting one as well :):).

Final comment: Overall Black ops is a extremely fun experience and is one no shooting fan should miss. It is a very strong contender for best shooting game on both the ps3 and 360 and is one people will be playing for a long time to come:).

Final Score- 9.2/10

God of War 3 Review

Let me start off by saying God of war 3 is simply stunning. When I first started playing the game I was immediately stunned by the scale of the game. The other entries in the god of war series have been epic in scale but nothing like this. Lets just say if you thought the ending of god of war 2 was epic in cutscene form just wait until you play it, thats right I siad play it, at the begining of god of war 3 . To be honest it is prehaps one of the most amzing scenes I have ever seen in a game and dont worry there are many more scenes like this through out the game.

The story in god war 3 follows kratos hunger for revenge and follws Kratos seeking his revenge on the gods of olmpiyus especially on Zeus. The story is well-told and is very action packed , I was pleasently surprised to see if you can say a compasionate side of Kratos. The ending is unexpected and wraps up the god of war trilogy nicely.

The graphics, oh my god the graphics are simply amazing, I dont think there is a game out there that can match God of war 3's graphics except for one of two. There are breathtaking. The character models are simply outstanding , especially Kratos and Posedion who I must say when you see him in the game in his battle form is prehaps the greatest use of water ever seen in a game.

Now its time to talk about the gameplay, there isnt much to say about god of war that hasnt already been siad. The gameplay in god of war 3 is as near to perfection as a

hack and slash,adventure game can get, it is fun,exciting, perfectly executed and is always a joy to use.

The sound in this game is once again as you would expect from god of war is amazing. The music amps up the atmosphere in the game even more. The sound is epic from the sound of Kratos battle cry to the amazing voice casting to the amzing sound conducted by a live .

Bad aspects of the game: Well there isnt really anything bad to say about the game but if I have to nick-pick then I suppose there are a couple of times when the graphics of certain objects in the game didnt seem as on par as the rest of the game and the double jump can sometimes seem a bit off but neither of these problems affect the game in any gamebreaking way.

Good aspects of the game: I'll try to make this as short as I can as there is so much great in the game, this review doesnt say nearly half of what makes this game so good. I enjoyed the story alot and the excellent gameplay complemented the story along with the amzing graphics and sound.

Story: 9 – A well done and exciting story which will keep you engaged from the epic beginning to the bloody end. It does get a little bit predictable at times but that didnt stop it from being an epic tale of vengeance and an awseome experience:).

Graphics: 10 – The graphics are outstanding, maybe the best grahics on the ps3 :) .

Gameplay: 10 – Gameplay is as close to perfection as you can get, all other hack and slash games can learn a thing or two from this game.

Sound: 10 -- The voice acting is very well done and the music provided by a live orchestra is nothing short of epic.

Enjoyment: 10 – I enjoyed this game alot. It is one of the best experiences I have had with a game for a long time and has reminded me why I love action/adventure games and why I loved the God of War series so much.

Final Comment: All I have left to say is that this game is amazing I know im repeating myself but the game is just outstanding. I would recommened anyone to try this game out if they have a ps3. Even those who are not fans of hack and slash/ adventure games may just be turned by God of War 3 :):).
